Interested in becoming a member?

We would like to introduce you to the British Columbia Association of Security Professionals.  Our Association has been working to serve the security industry in British Columbia since the early 1980’s and after a few name changes established itself as the BCASP officially in 1999.

Some of the highlights of our Association include:

  • Social Networking through dinner meetings
  • Educational seminars and guest speakers on industry related topics
  • Access to accredited ALOA Seminars and courses, hosted locally at discounted rates
  • Information on the latest product developments through manufacturer presentations
  • Invitation to our Annual Golf Tournament
  • Quarterly Newsletter
  • Health and Dental Plan
  • Access to our Association Website

As well, our association works with groups such as ICBC to establish reasonable rates for specific types of work.  We also meet with government officials to discuss issues such as licensing and qualifications.

For out of town members, who are unable to attend our meetings, access to our website will give you access to meeting minutes past and present.

As a bonus, for interested companies that would like to find out more about the association, we are offering a one-time member rate for attending one of our member meetings.  Join the association and you will receive one free dinner meeting, as well, your name will be entered into a draw for a BCASP golf shirt.
